L’Université Paris Nanterre participe à la 1ère journée européenne du doctorat : rendez-vous en ligne le 12 mai 2026 !

L’Université Paris Nanterre forme chaque année un peu plus de 1200 doctorants, dont 30 % de doctorants internationaux.

A l’occasion de la Journée européenne du doctorat, l’Université Paris Nanterre souhaite renforcer l’attrait de son programme doctoral auprès des étudiants européens et internationaux en mettant en lumière différents dispositifs de coopération à l’international et avec le monde socio-économique, ainsi que la pluralité des perspectives d’insertion professionnelle à l’issue du doctorat.  

L’événement organisé valorisera d’abord les opportunités dans nos établissements partenaires, avec la présentation des cotutelles internationales et de l’alliance European Digital UniverCity (EDUC) à laquelle appartient l’établissement. La diversité des parcours de formation doctorale sera ensuite mise en avant par la présentation des Conventions industrielles de formation par la recherche (CIFRE) ainsi que des co-encadrements par des professionnels issus du monde socio-économique ou culturel. Le troisième temps de l’événement visera à valoriser la richesse des parcours doctoraux ainsi que la plus-value essentielle des compétences acquises durant le doctorat en vue d’une carrière dans l’enseignement supérieur et la recherche mais aussi pour le monde socio-économique dans une Europe en constante évolution.

Outre un apport d’information sur les dispositifs présentés (cotutelles et CIFRE notamment), cet événement sera marqué par une alternance des témoignages de doctorants et d’acteurs du monde socio-économique et culturel.

Each year, University Paris Nanterre trains just over 1,200 doctoral students, 30% of whom are international.

As part of European Doctoral Day, University Paris Nanterre aims to enhance the appeal of its doctoral program to European and international students by highlighting various international cooperation initiatives and partnerships with the socio-economic world, as well as the wide range of career opportunities available after completing a doctorate.  

The event will begin by promoting opportunities from our partner institutions, with a presentation of international joint supervision, both with our international partners and within our European university alliance EDUC, of which the institution is a member. The diversity of doctoral training programs will then be highlighted through a presentation of the Industrial Agreements for Training through Research (CIFRE) and co-supervision by professionals from the socio-economic and cultural spheres. The third part of the event will focus on highlighting the value of doctoral programs and the essential added value of the skills acquired during doctoral studies for careers in higher education and research, as well as for the socio-economic world in a constantly evolving Europe.

In addition to providing information on the activities presented (notably « cotutelle » and « CIFRE »), this event will feature a series of testimonials from doctoral students and key players in the socio-economic and cultural spheres.
